Lenore Frye Jacobs, age 72, of Grand Ave., Dayton, passed away
Sunday at Grandview Hospital after a lengthy illness. She
is survived by 1 daughter of Beavercreek; 1 son of Cleveland, O.;
7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in
death by her husband A. M. Jacobs in May 1953. She was a
retired Clerk Typist at WPAFB. Funeral services 2 p.m.
Wednesday, R. C. Jones Funeral Home, 1410 County Club Rd.,
Fairmont, West Va. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery at
Fairmont, West Va. Friends may call at the time of service.

Leola Faye Harmon, age 49, of Far Hills Ave. went to be with the
Lord on April 26 at 6:45 p.m. at the Kettering Medical Center
where she had been a patient for 11 days. She was a native
of Middletown, O., had lived in Centerville for 20 years. She
was a member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church. She is
survived by her husband, 2 daughters of Kettering; 1 daughter at
home; 1 brother of Cincinnati; 1 brother of Trenton, O.; 1
brother of Covington, O.; 1 sister of Toledo, O. Services
will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Joseph R. Baker Funeral Home in
Middletown with Dr. Travis Hudson Officiating. Burial will
be in Woodside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral
home from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lester Dennis Mays, age 56, of Valleydale Drive, Lynchburg, Va.,
died Saturday afternoon in Lynchburg General Hospital. Born
in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late James W. Mays. He
was a retired employee of General Motors Corp. and a Veteran of
WWII. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by
3 sons all of Dayton; 1 daughter of Dayton; 2 stepsons of Dayton;
1 stepson of Tulsa, OK; 3 stepdaughters all of Dayton; 1 brother
of Lynchburg; 3 sisters of Lynchburg; 1 sister of Rustburg, Va.;
2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday
in Whitten Timberlake Chapel in Lynchburg. Interment in
Spring Hill Cemetery, Lynchburg, Va.

Joseph J. Schaedler, age 91, formerly of Dodgson Ct., died Sunday
at the Siena Home. Retired from Blue Bird Pie Co. after 50
years service. A member of Knights of Columbus and Third
Order of St. Francis. Survived by 1 daugther of Mo.; 1 son
of Fla.; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Prayers 10
a.m. Wednesday at the Meyer & Boehmer Funeral Home, 1733
Brown St. and Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of
the Rosary Catholic Church. Burial Calvary Cemetery. Friends

William Stuart Allen, 22, died Friday, April 25, at his home in
Kettering. Known as Willard to hs friends, he had been
active in speech and theatre since the 9th grade.
Will graduated Summa Cum Laude at Ohio University last June.
He had traveled extensively with the speech team and also wrote
and directed a radio program, Campus, which was
broadcast over ACRN radio, Athens. Memorial services will
be held 7:30 Monday night, April 28, at Fairmont Presbyterian
Church, 3805 Far Hills Avenue. Wills wife, his
brother, and his parents will be in the parlor after the service
to talk with friends. Instead of flowers, send

Maurice A. Bogle, age 58, of Midway Ave., died unexpectedly
Friday. Born in Somerset, Ky., he had resided in Dayton
many years. He as a teacher at Kiser High School,
affiliated with Tabernacle Baptist Church in Dayton and a member
of First Baptist Church in Lancaster, Ky. He was also a
member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Masonic Sunshine Lodge
No. 98 F&AM. Shriner. Survivors include his wife;
1 son of Indianapolis; 1 son of Dayton; daughter of Dayton;
mother of Lancaster; 4 grandchildren and a host of other
relatives and friends. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday
at the First Baptist Church in Lancaster, Rev. J.J. Evans
