Moorman, nee Schiml, at the residence, 634 Hickory Street, at 5:25pm, Friday, August 5, aged 37years, three months, and 20 days. Due notice of funeral will be given. Arnett--Jacob Arnett, aged 75 years, at the residence 2233 East Third Street. Zimmerman--At the Hospital, Central Branch, national Home for the D.V.S., August 3, 1887, Dominick Zimmerman, late of Co. E, 54th Regiment New York. Cause of death: Chronic meningitis. East--at the Hospital, Central Branch, Nation Home for the D.V.S., August 5, 1887, Elijah EAst late of Company D, 28th Regiment T.S.C.T. Cause of death: suicide George S. Gephart, Dayton Daily Journal, October 10 1888, v. XXVI, iss 64 pg. 4, col. 3 Found dead in the woods: the dead body of George S. Gephart, a well known farmer of German Township, was found in the woods south of his farm Monday evening. He left the house after dinner with the intention of remaining away but a short time. When he had not returned at supper time the family became alarmed and instituted a search. It is supposed that he fell dead from heart disease. He leaves quite a large family. Death of Francis Snyder Francis Snyder, one of Dayton's old and well known citizens, died at his residence, corner of Franklin and Ludlow Streets last evening. He was born in Alaace, formerly a French province in 1811 and emigrated with his wife to this country in 1846. He first settled in Cincinnati, but in 1854 removed to Dayton and located at the corner where he resided continuously until his death. His wife and four children, three boys and one girl, survive. Frank Snyder, ex-County Surveyor, his eldest child, is a resident of Columbus. Other news, same column and day: A Whig Wheel Horse John Washington, of Linden Avenue, yesterday celbrated his eight third birthday anniversary, hole and hearty, and says that if he lives until November 6th he will vote for Harrison like he did in 1836 and 1840.
