RENNER,
MILSTEAD
My name is Joseph R. Renner. I was
born in 1951 in Dayton, Ohio. My father is Joseph R. Renner Sr. also
born in Dayton in 1921. His father was Glen Renner and was born in
1894, possibly in Dayton or Eaton Ohio. There is much confusion in
our family as my grandfather went to school in Eaton with my Great-Grandmother's
last name of Milstead. Records are hard to find as I am told a fire
was to have taken place in that Counties Courthouse. I find it interesting
you are looking for a Raymond J. Renner. It is my conclusion my grandfather
was either adopted or illegitimate. In that particular era the latter
was not acceptable and no spoke about the matter. I don't know if
this is of any help to you. It may only serve to confuse. I
have just started to learn this process as I am very interested in my family's
past. If you are able to help in anyway please E-mail me. Thank you
and good luck
